Kastaplast is happy to present a collaboration with the Moomin brand.
Growing up in Sweden, characters like the Moomintroll, Little My, Snufkin, Hemulen, Stinky, Snorkmaiden, Fillyjonk, Sniff and the Hattifatteners are characters we all know. To say the least, Moomin has been part of our childhood, which makes our new collaboration with the Moomin brand very special to us. In a way, we feel that the everyday outdoor struggles in the Moomin valley can be recognized at the disc golf course too. The magic, the hope and the despair.
Moomin was created in the 1940’s by the Finnish writer and artist Tove Jansson and have grown in popularity ever since. The books have been translated into more than fifty languages. In this disc series, the artworks will be based on the artist’s drawings, and the script font is based on her handwriting. Various Moomin characters will appear on the stamps, as well as some words of wisdom heard from the Moomin valley.
Description
Appreciated for its predictable flight, the Kaxe will come in handy in numerous situations on the course. Due to its slim proportions and decent stability, Kaxe handles wind well without being very overstable. Kaxe is an old Swedish word for a self-confident person.
Suitable for: Control shots, forehand shots, 1-disc rounds.
Plastic:
Our plastic K1 Soft is similar to K1, but more flexy and grippy. Just as with K1, our plastic will come in both translucent and solid colors.
