GYROpalooza 2025 – The Most Anticipated Drop of the Year
Update (October 22): MVP Disc Sports has officially unveiled the 2025 GYROpalooza Mystery Box, and it’s everything fans hoped for – exclusive molds, anniversary stamps, and more glow than ever.
This year’s box packs incredible value: 11 discs total – 4 Special Editions, 5 Lab Seconds, and 2 R2 Neutrons – all for under $11 per disc.
What’s Inside the 2025 Box
Particle Glow Proton Particle
A true throwback. The long-retired Particle putter returns in Particle Glow Proton plastic – stable, torque-resistant, and designed for pinpoint control. This is a collector’s dream and a player’s workhorse in one.
Neutron Wave – 10th Anniversary Edition
Ten years later, the Wave still holds its crown as one of MVP’s most reliable distance drivers. The 2025 edition features a limited 10-year anniversary stamp, exclusive to the GYROpalooza box.
Particle Glow Proton Pyro
After years of requests, the Pyro finally gets its glow treatment. Using MVP’s new Particle Glow Proton blend, this midrange gets a clean glow-up without compromising its signature stability. Artwork by ZAM, inspired by real UFO sightings.
Plasma Echo
The fan-favorite Echo debuts in Plasma plastic for the first time ever. Smooth, neutral flight with tons of glide – this one’s made for shaping lines and watching it hold them forever. Art by Scott Oswalt.
5 Lab Second Discs
Expect a mixed bag of surprises – from limited runs to pre-release prototypes. Lab Seconds might have minor cosmetic flaws, but they fly identical to their production counterparts. MVP has been known to sneak unreleased molds in here, so keep your eyes peeled.
2 R2 Neutron Discs
Made from MVP’s regrind black-core plastic, these eco-friendly discs are perfect for field work or backups. Each box includes two different molds, sometimes even rare or special editions.
The Golden Ticket Returns
Hidden in 100 lucky boxes are Golden Tickets granting entry to GYROpalooza 2026 at MVP HQ in Michigan. This is the ultimate fan experience – a weekend of factory tours, exclusive discs, and hands-on access to the MVP crew.
What Is GYROpalooza?
For anyone new to the MVP ecosystem, GYROpalooza is an annual celebration of everything that makes the brand unique – innovation, plastic science, and community. Every fall, MVP releases a mystery box that blends exclusive Special Editions with discounted Lab Seconds, making it one of the best deals in disc golf.
Over the years, GYROpalooza has introduced fan-favorite molds, prototype plastics, and collector’s pieces that never hit full production. It’s more than just a mystery box – it’s a snapshot of MVP’s evolution.
Predictions and Highlights
2025 already feels special. MVP has been teasing new materials and possible experimental runs, and given the inclusion of both Particle Glow and Plasma in this year’s lineup, it’s clear they’re pushing the limits again.
While last year featured the Eagle McMahon Thrill and the introduction of Eclipse variations, this year’s focus seems to be on blending nostalgia with innovation. The return of the Particle alone tells us MVP is listening closely to what their fans want.
There are also whispers of new Simon Line experiments (possibly Lab Second Bokehs or Aspects) making their way into random boxes. Nothing confirmed – but with MVP, surprises are part of the fun.
