Optional ace fund · 50 SEK
Players who ace during the three tournament rounds share the fund. If nobody hits an ace, proceeds go to the Paul McBeth Foundation.
Official player accommodation
We've reserved accommodation for up to 120 players in central Fuengirola, only around 12 minutes by car from the course. Stay together, make new friends and enjoy the Costa del Sol between rounds.

A budget-friendly bungalow area booked for our player community. Each 33 m² bungalow has two bedrooms and accommodates four people. Pay when purchasing your accommodation place through Tjing.

Extended stay
Arriving earlier or staying longer? Extra nights may be available for an entire bungalow. Please ask us about pricing.
Facilities & sleeping arrangements
Free Wi-Fi, AC, microwave, fridge, coffee maker/Nespresso, toaster, dishwasher, shower, toilet, TV, bed linen and towels. Four beds per bungalow can be configured as four single beds or two double beds.
Breakfast & communication
Breakfast is not included; an optional breakfast deal is available for €10.50 per day. We'll set up a dedicated WhatsApp group for everyone staying in the player accommodation.

We're in sunny Spain during the Scandinavian winter! Enjoy putting competitions, distance challenges, a throwing net and plenty of time to hang out with other disc golfers. Our Fun Manager, Marcus Frankler, will organise on-site games and opportunities to explore the Costa del Sol together.

Learn from our top pros at the campsite, with free hands-on sessions covering putting, power throws, course management, scoring strategy and the mental game. Bring your discs!
🍕 Wednesday · Free pizza evening

A free evening group activity is being planned for our campsite guests. We'll announce the details closer to the event.
🍽 Friday · Free group dinner & optional after-party
Head into central Fuengirola for dinner together at a local restaurant. Afterwards, join an optional bar outing or head back to rest up for the next round.
Awards ceremony & players' party
We've reserved a restaurant in central Fuengirola for up to 150 guests. Join us for the official prize ceremony, buffet-style food, drinks, games and a celebration to remember.

Travel & budget
Planning your trip to Costa del Sol? Here are our tips and indicative costs to help you travel affordably. Prices are estimates, not live quotes or guaranteed offers.
✈️ Cheap flights
Getting to Málaga doesn't have to be expensive. Return flights can often cost around 2,000–3,000 SEK (€170–250) from cities such as Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Helsinki.

Tip: Book early to find better fares🚗 Getting around
For flexibility, consider renting a car at Málaga Airport. February rental rates can sometimes start around 200–300 SEK (€20–30) per day.
Prefer not to drive? Uber, Bolt and taxis are useful alternatives, especially when the cost is split between players. Coordinate rides with others at the campsite.
🍴 Food & drinks
Eating out and grocery shopping in Spain can be more affordable than in the Nordic countries. Fuengirola and Mijas have restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and bars across a wide range of budgets.
Budget for your own meals outside the organised events, including breakfast unless you purchase the optional breakfast deal.
🏡 Accommodation
We recommend joining the official Heatland camp in Fuengirola, where you'll stay alongside fellow players in our reserved bungalow area. Shared accommodation costs 2,500 SEK for five nights (500 SEK/night).
You'll have access to campsite games, free pro clinics, a Wednesday pizza evening, planned group activities and a Friday group dinner, making it easy to meet other players. Plenty of guests may have rental cars, so coordinating rides is often possible.
Prefer more privacy? Hotels and Airbnb stays in Fuengirola or Mijas can also be good-value alternatives in February.

Heatland To Mijas can be an affordable winter disc golf getaway, particularly when travelling with friends and sharing accommodation and transport.

FAQ & refund policy
Where do I register?
Does entry include accommodation?
What happens if I withdraw?
- Official withdrawals must be emailed to michael@heatland.se.
- More than 14 days before the tournament: 100% tournament-fee refund, excluding non-refundable platform/processing fees.
- 14 days or fewer before the tournament: no tournament-fee refund. The original page says you remain entitled to the player pack (listed at 1,100 SEK value), excluding shipping costs.
- Accommodation and dinner are not refundable within 14 days.
- Entries cannot be transferred to another player. No official withdrawal means no refund.
- Waitlisted players who do not receive a tournament spot get their entry fee refunded, subject to the stated processing-fee exception.
